Among the 18 yoga siddhas , Agasthiyar is the one who initiated many siddhas.It is beleived that he lived almost 4 yugas and 48 days.His Guru is Lord Shiva.Bhogar, Babaji, Thiruvalluvar and Machamuni are his disciples.His contributions includes Medicine, Kayakalpa, Tamil Grammar and Yoga.He attained his meditative consciousness at Anandasayana.
